A Padres game is a great option for a weekend plan, especially if you want something that feels very San Diego. It’s also an easy one to build into a family day downtown. We always go Sunday home games so we can enjoy Kids Fest before the game – it’s so much fun and definitely a highlight for the girls!

If you’re ready to lean into the warmer weather, LEGOLAND Water Park is another fun April option for families. This is especially great for kids who already love LEGOLAND and are excited for a more active day with water play and slides.
